Our Agriturismo is located in the open countryside, in Tramonti, a small town located in the heart of the Amalfi Coast, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Since it is located a short distance from the sea and a few kilometers from the mountains, Agriturismo Mare e Monti offers a wide range of sea and mountain sports.
The agritourism activity began way back in 1994, the year in which the great passion was born to offer the best welcome in our spacious rural environments, of historic construction and at the same time to let people taste the typical food and wine of our region and the Amalfi Coast, staying guests.
In our structure, the DOC wine "Costa d'Amalfi" is produced and bottled at the origin, derived from the transformation of our grapes from secular vines grown in our BASILEO farm.
For over 29 years, many guests of all nationalities have come and gone to our Agriturismo, attracted by the beauties of our "Divine Coast".
The Amalfi Coast for its "breathtaking" panoramas, enjoys significant worldwide tourist attendance for almost the whole year. To enjoy it to the fullest, we recommend walks along the numerous paths and in the towns, marked by maps available free of charge in the Agriturismo.
The farmhouse is located 12 km from Amalfi and a short distance from Pompeii excavations, the Greek temples of Paestum, Capri, Sorrento, Naples-historic centre, Vesuvius and the Royal Palace of Caserta.
Tramonti, a charming town on the Amalfi Coast, was the birthplace of Immacolata Giordano in the early 1900s, mother and grandmother respectively of Mario and Anadrew Cuomo, already Governors of the State of New York, three times.
The strong and cold wind that blows from the mountains towards the sea, called by sailors from all over the world "Tramontana", takes its name from Tramonti.

BASILEO WINERY
The Maria BASILEO farm has been producing DOC wine of excellent quality and unique taste for generations.
